1. 榜首。稱現在各類考試中的第一名。

   彼个就是這擺考試的狀元。

   Hit ê tō sī tsit pái khó-tshì ê tsiōng-guân.

2. 中國古代科舉制度中，殿試第一名者稱「狀元」。

• (1) 狀元命；狀元kiánn；狀元遊街；狀元拜相(siòng)；有狀元學生，無狀元先生；狀元無滿中(tiòng)，漢女不入宮＝清朝時代，滿州人bē-tàng考狀元，漢人女子bē-tàng入宮門。
• (2) 狀元田；狀元地；狀元價；pháinn-pháinn亦是狀元骨。
